About Us
Join our vibrant community at The Nimble Thimbles Quilt Club, where quilting creativity meets a passion for giving back. We empower Johnson County High School Family & Consumer Science classes by donating sewing machines, supplies, and fabric, and contribute monetary support to the Interfaith Food Pantry and Good Cheer Fund. Our projects include crafting lap quilts for hospice centers, creating quilts to honor veterans through the Quilts of Valor Foundation, and designing quilts for Habitat for Humanity recipients. We also produce hug shawls for patients, book bags for Head Start students, travel bags for foster children, and adult bibs and walker bags for nursing homes. In addition, we supply local charities that support teens and women in crisis and embrace other meaningful charitable projects as they arise.
